I just bought this 1969 Correct Craft Barracuda at the 2007 Correct Craft Owners Reunion in Orlando, FL.

My Dad has owned a 1966 Wildcat since before I was born and I grew up around that boat and always wanted a Correct Craft of my own. The boat as far as I know is mostly original, and certain parts show the age. I am planning to start a complete restoration this winter. The boat runs great now and we have been taking it out.

I hope to post more pictures soon as they become available of my progress.

Well this weekend proved to be interesting as we took the boat up the Saint John’s River. The boat ran great with its new carburetor. We cruised with my dad’s 66 wildcat, pictures are soon to follow. Along with a great day, there proved to be some interesting discoveries with a front flag pole and a spare prop underneath the bow... who knew??

Well I had the Barracuda out on the Hillsborough River, cruising along when it began to make this horrible ticking noise. We were going pretty good when it started, and I haven’t had the time to tear into it yet, I fear it’s a valve train issue.
