Hello Everyone.
I am Don From Atlanta Ga. My Uncle died about 5 years ago. I was told that I could get the Boat. It is a 14’3" 1957 CC Runabout. It has 358 hours on the clock. A 4 cyl. Gray Marine inboard. It has not been cranked up since 1977. It has been in a barn the whole time, Covered with years of junk. It took me and my son and his friend 4 hours to winch it out of the barn. The trailer tires were flat, but they were the orginal tires also. Nylon Tires.
I sincerely believe that it is totally original. It is painted red white and blue and the Bow was what looked like Mohogany Paneling.
The deck is painted blue and the cushions are black. They still snap on to the backboard.
It is a six volt system and One thing that is totally confusing. When I lifted the seat to expose the Battery. I noticed the Pos. and Neg. were backwards. I have taken many photos and I want to get the motor out ASAP. It is a Model 70. Or that is what the plate on the Tranny indicates. The Manufacture Date is Stamped on the exhaust manifold. I guess that you can tell I am excited about my new toy. Please everyone. I would love your input, Advise, Expertise.
Don
