We bought the boat in 1990 had the interior done and overhauled the engine in 1992. My son learned to knee board and ski at age 4 he is now 21. Our favorite place to use the boat is on Lake Travis in Austin, TX. We live in La Porte, TX on Galveston Bay. We prefer fresh water over salt. So we trailer the boat 250 miles and hang out in Cow Creek and Pace Bend Park area. We own property on the north side of the lake. My favorite thing about the boat is to hear it run.
Absolutely nothing sounds better than a Nautique running down the lake. My best friend and ski bum buddy owns a 78 Nautique as well.
