My first boat was a 1968 Ski Nautique which was used as a three event and show ski boat. I purchased this boat new in the fall of 1983! Best investment that I ever made. At Wisconsin Dells, at the Tommy Bartlett site, we had a handle go thru the wind shield with just under twenty hours on the boat! Since that time the boat has been used for all types of show skiing: ski around the boat, shoe skiing, swivel, trios, ballet, jumping, tricks, slalom, doubles, saucer, kneeboard, three high pyramids and barefooting! The boat has never let us down. We added the following items to the boat over the years: red bimini top, "C" hook for ski around the boat, speedo de-cloggers, triple finger releases, roto-cast drivers seat, barefoot boom, acme 540 prop, updated water strainer, necker knob on the steering wheel for ski around the boat, updated to a 1988 diamond plate gray Correct Craft trailer with brakes and a one of a kind vernay style muffler system for the engine! The muffler system was added to reduce noise during ski shows and as result added increased back pressure that added top end speed! The boat has just over 1,100 hours and still pulls ten skiers on two skis out of the water. Most pulled skiers off the dock was fourteen back in 1991-93 for the three high and two double two high pyramid act. In my opinion the 2001 style hull was the best ever made by Correct Craft!
