We moved to Bermuda 3 1/2 years ago. I knew right away, that I had to be out on the water. I’ve never owned a boat before, but seemed like a good idea. Took awhile to save some cash, but eventually bought an 18 foot run-about with an outboard. Have great memories of wake-boarding, diving, snorkeling, and just generally enjoying being out on the water with friends.
Recently sold the run-about and bought a Martinique. Looking forward to posting some pics when I get out on her. Unfortunately she has some issues! Runs well, but needs lots of TLC. By the way, who names a boat with a 351 V8 engine, Squeak!?!? Anyway, currently dealing with overheating and alternator issues. Our boats stay in the water almost year round here, so corrosion, bottom growth, along with high humidity and salt air all complicate matters. Not to mention outrageous fuel prices! ($6-$8 a gallon). However, if that’s the price of boating in Bermuda, it’s still worth it.
I’ll bet I’m the only person out there who will be scuba diving from a Correct Craft!!
