Always wanted one of these boats after skiing behind one in Conneaut lake park PA in the late 80's early 90's. Been updating this boat every season. First pictures are when I got it, wife and neighbors didn't understand me, thought I was a fool (VERY ROUGH SHAPE). Now everyone makes comments on how great of a "old" boat it is, they love the sound of the small block Ford duals... She is not a "Pristine" boat but I think she's perfect. Great memory maker with the family. Found a "Deluxe" rear seat, went thru the boat front to rear replacing and repairing... Finished the maj. work summer 09. Adding GT40P heads this season 2010 and new decals. Really been a great boat.

Just added a new project 1988 Barefoot Nautique 454, I'll be posting in the future on its progress.

7/12/2016 update:

The 88 is completed now (7/2016) The interior and drivetrain was completed in 2014 ... and hull (paint and decals) was done 2016

454 in the Barefoot is a .030 over 2 bolt main 445 block. Using "049" heads (large oval) the rest of the engine is "stock", carb is the special HOLLEY 625 cfm that is used on these boats from PCM spec.
