In July of 2009 a lifelong goal was finally realized with the purchase of this 1998 Sport Nautique from Lauderdale Lakes Marine in Elkhorn, WI. Having grown up behind my father’s 64 Ski Nautique, which he still owns and is also recorded here on CorrectCraftFan.com, I always knew no other boat would do. But I also didn’t want to just settle for any old Correct Craft, it had to be the right one that fit our needs as a family. This one was it.
This boat, as I understand it, was orignally sold by Lauderdale Lakes to a couple on Lake Delavan with a shorelander trailer, then was traded for a new Nautique. It was then sold to a family on Lauderdale Lake and in 2008, they upgraded the trailer to the current trailer. In 2009 they traded it for a boat that would facilitate better wakeboarding. Thats when we found it in 2009.
The boat is pretty clean with what I would consider normal wear and tear for a boat 11 years old. My wife loves the colors scheme, and my girls are so excited and love, riding, skiing, boarding and tubing behind it. It is sure to bring our family hours of fun and excitement.
