There are times that dreams do come true. This story started a few years ago. At that time I was dragging my family out on the lake in a busted up (work in progress) '83 Stars and Stripes. While on the water I spent all my time wrenching on the old 351 just to get back to the dock. My wife wasnt amused, but was cool about it. I sold some other toys and went on the search for my dream boat. I had a price range (sort of), a color (I wanted the black deck and hull), an engine (the GT-40, I’m a diehard Ford guy), and what I thought an impossible task. With the help of the internet, Craigslist, and a thousand phone calls, I found this black SANTE with only 38 hrs (thats right 38!) This boat spent the first part of its life in dry dock in TX. The first owner put it on a trailer and brought it to their lake home in northern WI, where he felt they would use the boat more. Fortunatley for me, he posted a For Sale ad and my dream became a reality. I still cant believe this bad boy is in the garage. With what it took to find the boat, the endeavor sparked a business venture, we formed DTHinboards.com and the SANTE is now the flagship.
