My brother and I purchased this boat from a man in Michigan. He and his daughter did a really great restoration on the boat. They gutted the interior and replaced all stringers and flooring and did a pretty nice job redoing the exterior and interior finishes.
My brother and I have always loved Ski Nautiques, especially those from the late 1970’s. Although we grew up skiing behind an I/O, we did have a few opportunities to ski behind a friend’s Ski Centurion in high school. Nothing beats skiing behind an inboard ski boat.
Back in high school, my brother and I would watch the 1977 Ski Tique and the 1980’s Barefoot Nautique on our lake in Wisconsin and dream about owning our very own Correct Craft ski boat. We’d say that one day we’d be able to afford one. Well, that day came this Fall nearly 20 years later!
We added a bimini cover to protect the little ones from the sun this summer. My brother has done a great job keeping the boat looking great this season and the boat has performed beautifully all season long. I forgot how much fun it is to slalom behind these boats and it looks so good from the end of the rope! This year my 2-year old is tubing behind it. I hope to have he and my 1-year old daughter skiing in just a few years. They should be ready to try out for the Min-aqua Bats by the time he’s a teenager.
I love to get emails and suggestions from other Correct Craft Owners so don’t hesitate to shoot an email my way!
