This boat is special to me because it has been in the family since 1983 and my grandpa was the second owner. He got it from an older man. Since then he has handed it down to my uncle and I always bugged him about taking it off his hands. My dream came true one year ago, unlucky for me was the task of getting the beauty back on the water and seaworthy agian. He had let her sitting in storage for 5-6 years. I had to replace the floor and found one of the exhaust pipes needed replacing. Then went through the ignition and replaced all of the wires, cap, rotor, coil, plugs, and ballast. Installed a new timing chain and new carb. (I still have the old carter in a box tore down.) Got it running like a top and had the last year to ski and tube behind it. I was lucky enough to show my grandpa and let him drive it agian, before he passed away this year. I won’t ever let this boat go as long as I can afford to keep it. Too many memories of him showing me the ropes.
