My first Correct Craft was a 1970 Skier, The Red Monster. Up ’til then my dad had a 14’ plywood boat with a 25 Johnson. It was not much but I trained behind it winning my 1st Georgia State Championship in 1959 in Jr. Boys in Savannah, Ga. My second trick run was a one ski ballet run (big points). I learned to barefoot in tennis shoes. In 1964 I made it to the National Water Ski Tournament at Lake Chargoggagoggmanchaugagoggchaubunagungamaugg (no that is not a misprint) in Webster Mass. After training many kids to ski professionally, I worked for the Bartlett Water Ski, Sky, and Stage Show in Wisconsin Del in 1971 and was the water front director of the Bartlett Ski Show at Sea World of Ohio in Aurora.
I bought my current 1975 Ski Nautique from the factory in April of 1976. It had been a Demo for a girls camp and returned. It has stood the test of time and done all it was asked to do. From pulling ski shows to flat wing (Tibado) and delta wing kites.
