This is my second Correct Craft. It is a 1976 Ski Nautique with 315 original hours. I sold my first boat thinking that after I quit my job I would need the money. Turns out financially, my wife and I were ok. I got a call from the "BOAT DOCTOR" as I signed up for the SJRR, and he was calling to introduce himself. I mentioned that I was having second thoughts about selling my boat and that I was on the hunt for a new boat. Billy (BOAT DOC) Sutton revealed to me that a friend of his would have a red and white 1976 Ski Nautique at the SJRR and I should "check it out"...
When my wife and I arrived at the SJRR the Doc showed me this boat. We fell in love. The boat was from Tennessee and I knew I would take a road trip from FL to get it. As I talked more with the owner, I decided to go to the White Lake Reunion in N.C. The owner agreed to meet me half-way in Columbia, South Carolina. We picked the boat up on Thursday afternoon and it was in the water Friday morning pulling skiers and we also entered our new rig in the White Lake Marine Boat Show.
We have already made this boat a part of our family and do not see a departure anywhere in our future!!
