This is my first Correct Craft. I slalom and barefoot skied behind late-80s, early-90s Nautiques (Ski and Barefoot models) as an adolescent and have longed to get my hands on one of these boats. Looking on and off for years finally yielded this boat. Purchased "sight unseen" (albeit for photos, but with a lengthy discussion with the boat’s owner) over the Internet/Ebay from PA, delivered to KY for a family ski vacation … the boat performed flawlessly!
With an active family with two little ones, ages 2 and 3 ½, we are looking for this boat to grow with us. I am planning on focusing on keeping it mechanically sound while the children grow and then undertake a complete restoration when they can appreciate and take care of a boat in pristine condition. I look forward to learning from and contribution to the Correct Craft community!
