Rescued this restoration project from an individual in South Florida. It had been neglected for over 2 years including but not limited to being left outside without a cover, run in salt water, little to no maintenance done, trashed interior, etc. Luckily 85% was cosmetic. It had low hours for its age, a solid hull free of damage, and a strong drivetrain. So to me a perfect candidate for what I wanted.
These were pics right after it went through the first round of 3M hull restorer and waxing. Still has a very very long way to go to be up to my standards. Been doing little projects here and there on it while it does its job as a barefoot mule for the summer.
Winter begins the first of a few major projects including an entirely new interior (upholstery, carpeting, wood backings, trim pieces), bolt on engine part replacements (carb/manifolds, risers, intake), dash/guage upgrades, and some sort of stereo to keep the wife happy.
