First time boat owner though I’ve driven a few over the years. We bought a camp in Maine 2 years ago and a boat was needed. The wife and I discussed all different options including a pontoon boat which I could not stomach. I like power equipment that has some horsepower. I own a 1969 Plymouth GTX convertible, a 2007 Yamaha FJR1300 so how the heck am I going to enjoy a 25-40HP pontoon barge? I’m not!! I’ve water skied over the years and wanted to get back into it. My 2 son’s also like to water ski as do others I’ve met on the lake. I think some of them were more excited about skiing behind this boat than myself.
