Born into a family of Correct Crafts and dad always had one since before I was born - it was just a matter of time until I bought my own. Searched for several years for a Ski Tique with not much luck then stumbled upon this Ski Nautique from another CCF owner but did not know it at the time. Found the boat in a barn in Greensboro, NC and bought it right then. Believe it spent 20+ years on Smith Mountain Lake, VA. It's really similar to dad's '75 on the left with the small letters which he's the original owner and I grew up on it and still ski behind weekly.
My '76 large letter has an Escort 351 rebuilt two PO's ago with 263 current hours on it and rebuilt velvet drive at the same time. New upholstery, great gel coat and re-done graphics, new OEM gauges and re-done white faced Airguides with the help of a few CCF members. Replaced prop with an Acme 540. Hope to replace carpet this winter as I'm sure this will be its last season. I slalom behind this '76 three times a week on our Lake Carlton on the Dora Chain.
