This American Skier (AM128) was purchased in Denver Colorado from Denver Outboard Marine, Inc. on July 30, 1964. The boat was titled in Colorado from Correct Craft to Denver Outboard Marine, Inc. on November 22,1963. The same day JFK was assassinated. It spent the next 50 years primarily on Lake Loveland, a private lake in Loveland, Colorado which is about an hour north of Denver. It was used as a competition ski boat and made numerous trips outside the state in the 1960's. I purchased the boat in September 2013. It's my first inboard and I have had a ball getting her shined up and back on the water. I am very grateful for the generous help and camaraderie from the members of CCF. It has made this experience so much more than it would have been otherwise. I've spent a fair amount of time working on and generally tinkering on the boat, and in doing so, the boat has been aptly named by my wife. "Mistress"
