After a 10 year sabbatical of not having a boat, I decided it was time to jump back into the
money pit and throw some more money into the river. After a few years of riding for free on my friend
Correct Craft, He decided to sell the boat and buy something else. So when he asked me if I wanted
to buy it, I hesitated and told him, I'll think about it. Thought about it the rest of the day and that night
hard. I knew I would have to fork up at least a grand besides buying the boat. He never cleaned or
waxed it, Motor needed some work and a bunch of other stuff to do on the boat it self. Then the
government would want to share in my joy and hit me with their fees. Storage, insurance. what am I
Nuts!!!

The next day, my friend was over for coffee and upped the anti, I'll throw in the 10 x 20 canopy on
the deal, started to feel like I was at a used car lot, LOL. I asked, " will you help me with the motor",
Sure he said, no problem. The problem was I believed him, I brought the boat and parts, new
exhaust hose's and valve seals ready to go in, but no Dave.

In all fairness to Dave he did come over and help me with the engine, a week or two later.we install
new exhaust hoses and valve seals with a oil change. We started the engine, thanks to his little trick
with a garden hose and it ran fine. to be continued.
