My first boat was a boat my father purchased in 1966. A 16'6" IO that I loved and nurtured up until we had kids. Life became baseball, soccer, volleyball, and an annual camping trip in a travel trailer. A few years back, I got the boat running and we pulled both the trailer and the old boat for our family camping trip. Nothing better than being on a lake. My son (19) and daughters (21&16) enjoyed having the "classic" on the water but lets face it. Not much and old 120HP motor can do. So my wife tells me it's time for her to go (The boat LOL). "It's my dad's" "I can't let her go". She says to me, "it doesn't do what we want" and "the kids can't really ski or wake board". So goes my story. We recently purchased a "new to us" 1996 Ski Nautique Open Bow. Always garage kept and only 328 hours.. It's been 4 weeks since we got her and IT WON"T STOP RAINING!. Still dry docked in my shop. It's been a very wet 2017 winter and all of our lakes are full. SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!
