This is my second '87 Martinique. Had one 20 years ago. Sold that, and eventually moved to an '83 Southwind Open Bow. Went on to a '76 Southwind closed bow. Cool little boat, but, no room for anything. I was recently perusing craisglist just to see what was out there, and came across this '87 Martinique for a very nice price.
Went to check it out the next day, and ended up buying it. After cleaning it up a bit, it looks very nice for a 30 year old boat. Plus, it has very low hours. The boat came with an Acme 542 prop, and even has two tracking fins on it. That was a bit of a surprise when I saw those. Lots of storage on the boat, and lots of beautiful teak wood in the interior. It handles rough water very well, and has enough room for 6-8 people.
