This our first Correct Craft restoration project. This boat had been sitting on davits for at least a year and at first inspection the boat appeared to have been a poop zone for all the neighborhood birds. The owner stated it had been that long since it had been started. After a long inspection short of the outward appearence the boat seem very sound (hull, stringers, engine). Once we started going through the engine we found that who ever had been working on it thought that the best place for all replacement parts could be obtained at you local discount auto parts store. After about $500.00 she fired up. We’ve just started working on the interior and have plans to totally replace that after the summer. This boat is a labor of love which I’m sure will last over the next several years, for an initial investment of $900.00, I think this boat was a steal.
