Still a few more details and the engine is not running well, it will not idle... It runs and runs strong, sounds great. Compression on one of the cylinders is off...
I bought this boat a few months ago and had it redone. I’ve posted a bunch of photos of the boat and other Correct Crafts (ideas) on Flickr.
When I looked at the boat, it had been sitting for over 5 years and had not been started. It was repainted a few years ago as well, the paint looks amazing and the boat started. So, I went back the next weekend and we took out on the lake. The inside of the boat is bare plywood, no seats. The engine ran well, but needed a tune-up and carb rebuild. It has the original engine (Chrysler 318) and trailer.
Work so far…
- Replaced the old gas tank with a new plastic one
- Engine tune-up and carb rebuild (Larry’s marine repair – Mound, MN)
- Replaced trailer tires
- Bought carpet for inside - red
- Ordered new seats (2 captains chairs and bench seat for the rear) - solid white
- New Gauges
- Depth Finder
- Removed old paint from pylon
- Rub Rails
- Stereo
- Rear pole light
- Step pads (Frank Tamanko - tamanko@aol.com)
