Ha, yes they do. The old Bounder has a pretty short wheel base. First time I've had the big boat behind it but I did a short test drive Sunday and the old beast impressed me. The more weight I put t it the better it rides. We'll either have a great weekend or we'll snap it in half, game on.

Careful on those railroad crossings on KK if you take that in! I've gotten air between the boat and trailer on those!

Joel - I think they have re-worked those, they are a little smoother now, plus they added a bunch of stop signs, its almost not worth it as a short cut anymore...

The NE contingent is on the move, just outside of South Bend, IN.

Joe up front

Tim and the barefooter peeking around behind us.

Randy's up ahead somewhere, maybe 50 miles ahead...?

ETA 11:00pm. Holla.

While substantially less impressive than the Northeast caravan or the Louisiana representatives, we are hitting the road in 2 hours, arrive by 8:00. I'll do a drive through the camp ground and welcome the weary travelers.

If you cant find a ride at Green lake your not looking!

I would Speak up Friday night if I wanted a morning water sports outing or a lift to the bay on Saturday, don't wait till morning and "miss the boat". I know we are potentially spotter-less.

I am looking forward to getting some skiing in this weekend. Haven't been doing much skiing over the past 2-3 years. I will be there with my son Tom (who is getting VERY excited for the trip). So, we are spotterless too. So, hopefully we can find some spotters and skiers so we can all have some fun on the water. Will have room for anybody that is boatless too.

I am going to bring several sets of combos in case anybody would like to do some three or four man ski runs behind the Southwind. Might be fun to do a Sr. Mens event of some sort. Well, I mean for some of you guys over 50.

We are leaving sometime Friday mid AM and will hopefully be rolling in mid PM. Taking Rt 12 up to 73 (or is it 78) and into GL. Taking it slow and easy coming up the scenic route.

40 boats in attendance and you think it's necessary to ask that question. 40x4=160 at least in the south and there are only 100+ attending and some will hold 6 or more.....C'mon man!      I don't think we'll need a pontoon.

Seriously, riding a pontoon at a ccfan reunion? Might as well follow that up with a soda at the Goose! .

OUCH!!!! ...Ok guys... I'm asking for Paul and Marge Morris from Des Moines. They are coming with the owners of the 1948 Correct Craft, but sounds like that boat may be full leaving them high and dry. Paul and Marge are "over 65" and I don't think they would be very comfortable setting on the floor in my 73.

(that, plus I haven't had my boat in the water since tearing into it this spring, so I may be on the land with them!)

Saw the NE contingent made it in last night in time to try to set up camp in the fading light.

If I can get away long enough Sat. aft. I'll bring Camp Grow's SkiTique over to the Bay. If anyone's needing a 350 CHEVY powered ride just come over and ask - I'll be glad to help you out. I will confess, the OJ prop makes it more impressive, but it's being repaired and it won't be here until Monday. The Federal Mogul 12 x 14 that's on it now doesn't have quite the same bite or immediate response.

Although I'm over 50 I can open it up for a ride that may not be appealing to seniors....

Steve, it would hardly be a complete trip to Green Lake for you if you didn't get to make least a few "on water adjustments"
