I've got (what used to be) white pvc flexible coverings on my trailer guides. They could not be dirtier/uglier. I've tried magic eraser, several household products that promise to clean the most horrendous of moldy, scummy surfaces, and bleach. They resist it all. Any suggestions?

I have always used SOS pads to clean mine. It will make them white again. Yhey will not be a shiny as new pvc but they will look clean.

After the sos pads, wet sand them with 500 and then 1000 and they will shine.

Try pvc pipe cleaner,the product you use before gluing.It will also remome any gloss also,my wife tends to rub the port side and leave rub rail black marks so I know this works.

Maybe try Acetone or lacquer thinner. Apply "303" protectant afterward. Please do a test spot first!

I have not tried it on my guide posts, but West Marine sells a black streak remover for fiberglass hulls. I used some on my old Sea Ray and it really takes off the black streaks (and all the wax). Also worked great on stains on the interior.
