Hey guys, i just purchased my first CC its a 78 nautique with a 351w

I am looking for a replacement hood scoop for the bow. This one is vinyl covered plastic but the plastic and the vinyl are in really bad shape from the weather. can anyone help direct to somewhere to buy one at please.

are you sure it's not vinyl fiberglass. you can redo the vinyl

My 76 is vinyl fiberglass!! I recovered it a few years back!

I recently rebuilt my 78 hood scoop that had a direct hit or two. It was flopping in the wind! The fiberglass can be repaired easily with a kit from West Marine or other supplier. Just mock up the bolt pattern on a spare piece of wood so you can screw back into the same location. The vinyl is just glued on after that.
