Per the following you need a CCW starter: ARCO tech tips
Starter PN 70201 is a CCW starter: ARCO Starters The starter on the NP website is an ARCO 70201 and is the correct starter. |

Anyone have pictures of the coil/resistor location mounts from the electronic ignition kit as well as the bracket that goes towards the back where the 50 amp breaker is?
Thanks |

That's way too much typing for us old simple minded guys that don't particularly like typing to begin with Hollywood correctcraftfan coil mount in a Google search gets the same results without quotes or slashes or any of that stuff. |

Thanks all for the help and guidance. I got the boat turned over and winterized it (boo!).
Attached are the actual instructions for the kit from PCM for future reference. However, I did run into a wire that I need to connect up. It is near the Vdrive area and the light blue wire goes towards the interior dash and I am trying to find out where this red wire goes to, any thoughts? Where does the red wire go from this picture? |

That is the neutral safety switch. One wire goes to the key switch and one goes to the starter relay.

Chris,
I don't feel that's your NSS. The NSS would be on the trans and not the Walters V drive. Someone will be along who knows more about the Walters but I'd say it's the pressure sender for the Walters. The light blue up to the dash would be to the warning light and the red would be the "hot" + to the switch. |

I get dizzy looking at the picture, but like Pete said, low oil pressure warning light on the dash gets fed from that switch if I'm looking at the picture right
Here's a link to the v drive manual Walters v drive manual Unfortunately the page with the wiring diagram doesn't seem to be there |

Good job, where'd you find page 16?
Red to ground doesn't seem to pass the "sanity check" though. |

Chris, Check to see if the indicator light is wired to ground or +. Just because you found a wiring diagram in the Walter manual, doesn't mean the light was wired that way by CC. |

Seems this thread has strayed a bit from its subject.
If still looking for dizzy info, it's possible this might contain some useful info: http://www.grantmaclaren.com/72skier/engine4/index.html -=Grant=- |

Thanks all.
I'll do a check this holiday to determine the mystery wires lol. Page 16 comes directly from Warner, I contacted them and they shot it over to me. |
