i have a wood platform on my 66 mustang the thing is bolted thru the transome
the bolts look good but nuts are corroded. i will likely use this boat mainly as a cruiser so i thought about taking the platform off my questions are as follows. should i replace the nuts and leave it alone if i take it off how do i properly fix the 12 holes thanks philip |

Phillip,
The quickest way is to put bolts in the holes along with plenty of sealant such as 3M 4200. If the look would bother you then it gets a little complicated with filling the holes with a filled resin and then topping that with gel coat. |

If you decide to remove it I be interested in purchasing it.
I would try to replace nuts but you need to pull the tank either way to get to them. |
