Where would the engine ID stamp be on the 351 (82SN)?
Also, where is the best place to connect the vacuum gauge? The pcv valve? Thanks! |

Not sure about the engine stamp. However, on the vacuum question, there is a hex head bolt/screw at the back center of the intake manifold (behind carb). I hook mine up there. I believe that is a good spot to tap in to get a good vacuum reading.
I would be interested in hearing what kind of reading you get. Also, make sure your engine is warmed up first. You will get a better/more accurate reading. |

If the stamp is like mine, then it is on an aluminum tag bolted to the intake, aft of the carb.
