Maybe a Europe sub forum for this side of the pond with 'local' contacts.

Have an 86 Martinique with a 351 on Lake Maggiore in Italy and used for skiing, wakeboarding, tubes, kneeboards and cruising.

A UK or Europe meet would be great.

Hello I'm from Denmark

I have a mustang that we use for cruising and a little sports...

I think a UK meet would be a good idea but i would be attending without boat... to long to tow...

Maybe we should meet at Roger's workshop so we can see everything he builds and get the full tour.

And there are more!

Another one from Holland.

Got a 1990 Ski Nautique for 3 years now.
It's used for wakeboarding, skiing and cruising.

Added a tower, dual battery system and new audio system to it, and did a lot of wetsanding last year.

Still need to update my profile.

Hey Boyd,
The 3 blade stock prop on the boat had taken a few knocks by the previous owner, nothing to serious but there was some vibration from it so I need to get it refurbished and I wanted to keep it as a spare, after reading posts from here and other sites the 422 seemed like a good replacement for my needs, running some ballast sometimes but not a huge amount and a good all around prop.

I have not fully tested the 422 (only been out once since installing) but first impressions are very impressive, its very smooth with a great hole shot, my only other experience of the 2001 is with a beaten up stock prop so I don't have anything to compare it too but I am very happy with the performance (understatement).

For info I had it shipped to the UK from DeepBlueYachtSupply prices are from Feb so might have changed but its a good guide.

Price for prop: £242.96
Prop Puller: £44
Shipping: £57.76
Customs charge/import duty: £78.13 (Grrrrrrr)
Total Cost: £422.85

We have also had a lot of rain in the last 3 weeks and been cold. It was snowing last week.
We are planning on a snow and water ski day in July. Plateau Rosa (just above Cervinia/Zermatt on the glacia) in the morning at 3800m then back to the lake for the water and BBQ in the evening.

LOL that was posted yesterday!! 6c and raining with strong winds...you have just gotta love England in the Spring time
We managed to get out on Saturday but luckily there was only 2 boats on the lake and we took it in turns to use the far end of the lake where the water was sheltered from the wind and a little bit flatter, first time out in a 3/2mm wetsuit was a shocker though.

thought I'd say a quick hello. I lurk on this forum from time to time, mainly when the boat is broke... Anyway, I've got a '97 Sport, Monster tower, more lead than I care mention hidden around the boat and a few fat sacs to boot. Based Loch Lomond but seen very little use of the boat over the last 2 seasons, young kids and weather bad whenever I have time...

You must love the boarding at 10:00pm in the summer..I had a couple of sets on Loch Lomond a couple of seasons ago and it was great although the next day you could have surfed the white water across the loch it was so windy! oh and it was COLD
The guys at http://www.lochlomondwakeboard.com/ were great, shame I didn't have more time there though.

yeah, Raymond and the guys are doing good things for wakeboarding in Scotland, it's certainly becoming less of a niche which is great. You're right on the temperature, it's over 100 fathoms deep in places (620ft from memory) so never warms up! Certainly wakes you up first thing in the morning if you are brave enough to go without a wetsuit..
