Just rebuilt an older Holley 4160 carb for a PCM Ford 351W engine.
Mounted it on the engine and ran it on the garden hose. Appears to run great, *but* the secondary bowl is spraying fuel from the place marked in the attached photo. Can it be repaired with solder or is it better to replace it? If replace, who do you recommend buying from? Holley, Summit Racing, eBay or another vendor? Thanks |

Some have repaired with JB Weld with good success. Give it a try.

Here's a link to a previous discussion on those plugs with a picture of what the plug actually looks like. It has an internal O ring that's leaking. A good cleanup job, and about any gas resistant epoxy covering the whole plug area and you should be leak free. Epoxy or replace,............... your choice

They sell them they just come pre attached to a float bowl I have always wondered if you could press down on that plug and peen the ridge around it to tighten it up.....
