Mark & Dave,
Thanks for the interst in the 82. I did sell it in January. I will miss this boat. I will also get over it when I start using the 86 I bought to replace it! |

Hey Jim: I travelled from Austin to california to pick-up my '93 SN. I left Austin Saturday morning (3:00am) and was home Sunday afternoon (8:00pm).
My advice: If you find a boat you like, just go get it no matter how far away. You will be glad you did. |

Hey! Chicago is not far from Texas!!! Texarkana, TX is closer to Chicago than it is to El Paso.
I hauled my '68 from the center of Vermont to Houston on a rusty skimpy CC trailer and I would not trade the adventure for a million dollars. It took 3 days to get it home - my girlfriend rode with me - I kept trying to find water a long the way to put the boat in but she talked me out of it. Go for it - the farther away the boat the more you love it when you get it home. Free advise from Jim. |

Brian;
I have been looking for an '82 SN, and I am in the Chicago area (Cary). Is your boat still for sale? Email me at dgwinn390@hotmail.com. Thanks! Dave |

No hurry to move it, however it is for sale.
You are correct, Chicago is a long haul from Texas! You should have bid on the 81 anniversary edition on E-bay from about a week ago. Looked like a good deal. Good Luck shopping! |

I bid on the 81 and lost it by $100.00. The 84 reserve price was $9,000.00 (too high). I bought the 86! Finally. Now I have two, a 1982 and a 1986. Anyone want to buy the 82?
