Karen and I have booked ours, Greg and Amy have rented theirs too. At last check there were still a few cabins available on the water.
They get bookings for a year in advance, so call now to get one on the water. The Eagle's Nest will be headquarters for the "Coon Den Crew" with "The Buffalo and wife" residing in The Catfish Hole. Won't be long now 10 months and a few days till the River Run........Boat dr |

Carl, I believe the next St. Johns River Run is planned for Feb 19-21 2010. The weekend following the Daytona 500. Parramores campground was slammed full of 500 fans this year. I've heard that they are the ones who suggested this weekend as the rates would be better as well as availablity. I haven't personally booked my cabin for next year but plan to do so asap.

Bud, There are a couple of pictures posted of Billy's progress in another thread. Boat Dr's new toy - page 3 He's been working hard!! He's also going through the normal problems everyone has when painting. It's looking great! Take a look. I'm happy to say that the correct windshield brackets have been purchased and went out with the other parts for a re chrome. |

For those that could not come, the pics only show a fraction of the LARGE TIME HAD BY ALL.
And my hat is off for many great photos that were taken and posted to this great site. And just think that was a warm up session for Green Lake............Boat dr |

For the 409 to outrun this whole pack, I knew I'd have to pull one out. I just didn't dig deep enough to cover the Doctor. |

Brad, congrats on the news. You needed to plan that differently so you can drive up with the Caravan from the S.E. and have some fun in Green Lake. Like the Cubs, there's always next year. !!! Moj' |

I need a telaporter lol. God will be blessing me with my first child around July 18th. Dont think the wife or my little girl will be up for the ride. I will be enjoying the warm water and trying to build the teleporter between now and then. If you come across any blueprints let me know. LOL

Brad , you missed the "BOAT" on the river run.
All efforts now are towards the Green Lake Reunion. Do Not Miss This One..... St. Johns was a warm up to the BIG ONE in July. The air is warm but the water is a bit COOL for us southerners. Karen and I will drive 1200 miles one way to get one of those Tee Shirts. Water,Boats, and good friends , what else do you need?????????????Boat dr |

Hey Rob,
I got two DVD's full of photos from Karen. I was hoping to get them up but just running out of time before leaving for vacation (that work thing always seems to get in the way). I'll try to get a few photos up while away but otherwise will post the photos the week after next. -Keith |

What a super guy, between Bud and Pete I have spent counless hours one phone with them .Willing to share and direct me in between the bumps and hurdles I am trying to negotiate for the repairs on this old boat.
Bud has the "knock your socks off boat, along with the knowledge of who , what , when and where to add to their history. Thank you Bud for the info you have posted so far and hope you will share more as you find it.....Billy/Karen |

Bud, Sorry to hear you had the problem. You couldn't have been asking the proper people!! The ACBS Sunnyland chapter has always been one of the biggest 2008 - 417 members!! What happened to the Gray? I understand you have a fantastic literature collection. I'm sure you have some that isn't in the sites ref. section. I see you have posted a couple pieces above but maybe more could be added. Bud, Everyone who has sen you boat has commented on how beautiful it is. Do you work on it yourself? |
