Thanks for all the help. The vibration is just from normal operation, shouldn't have called it a vibration, none the less, the windshield frame comes loose. I'll try the thread locker and larger sheet metal screws.

Maybe look into the source of the vibration first?

you might try a little J-B weld in the screw hole. You can buy new stainless screws with black heads at Lowes.

Ok Now i have rethought the possiblities.are the screws that hold the frame together coming undone? If so try locktite thread lock on those. If the frame is coming loose from the boat use the thrubolt method.

Of course, that Just my opinion.
What were they thinking!!??

Maybe thru bolting with locknuts on the underside would be the answer.....make sure to use fender washers to help spread the load.
What were they thinking!!??

My '84 Southwind windshield frame vibrates the screws out and it comes apart under way. Any suggestions? I am thinking of larger diameter screws is the only solution.
