take a painted piece to your local auto body supply store, they may be able to use a color eye and get you close, fwiw, i use bc/cc to paint engines good up to 350 degrees and to date...well its durable

no need for high heat..regular paint will do just fine...just make sure all surfaces are clean and degreased..if not paint will not hold and will peel off when dry....

I looking for a source or paint code for the silver engine paint used by PCM in the late 80's -early 90's.
