I went up to skipper buds and pulled a trans, rebuilt it on the tailgate of a pick up truck and put it back in on the same day for Paragon Power, he was there, nice guy. we ended up having seal ring problems in the transmissions, a touch to big.

caplocks off

I due not know if the parts from a 77 will work, the strut will have a cast stamp on the barrel - 6 A 6 J - and the size listed above. If you have the rudder port look for the size listed above or maybe help from cc members.

The flywheel looks good - only have two worn teeth 1/32" on the ring gear and do not want to have a problem later on.

Did not get in to see jimmy yet. I will relay the info. also He did get me for the flex coupling

Bluebird tell Jimmy Aspel at Federal, Eric from FFI or Great lakes Power said hi, did some jobs up at skipperbuds with him a few years back....watch out he will pull the dial indicators out on you, and you will be walking out of his shop with prop savers, federal couplings and to the likes.

I need to look for the FW, you need the weight offset FW?
