thanks for the advice chopper I will peel back the vinyl ,and be extra careful not to get it to hot. It is pretty distorted . I will have to put that project off for a little while still trying to get the 81 to ldle .thanks again

The pods appear to be a PE or PVC type plastic, so it should work. I would suggest that you remove the pod to do it. I would probably also try to peel back the vinyl first. If you just apply heat to the outside, I think you will damage the vinyl cover if you were not extremely careful.

has an one had a problem with the sun distorting their dash pod. I was thinking of trying to bend it back down and flush with a heat gun. any thoughts thanks
