A head forward double deepwater!
About 1/4 of the way in there was a boat running to the towboat's starboard that was churning mud. Reminds me of something I can't quite put my finger on. |

She was a competitive swimmer that got into movies. I had never seen the skiing one before and didnt know she did that, but the movies she starred in had huge synchronized swimming type extravaganzas with a zillion bathing beauties and fountains and exotic routines. Big deal in its day. |

Was Esther some kind of hottie in the 50s? She doesn't seem too bad, definitely gets douched at 3:20. Cool skiing.

I've got a DVD with just the waterski scene. I just watched it yesterday as one of my kids was home from college. It is pretty amazing. It must have taken weeks to make.

Just caught the tail end of a Ester Williams movie ""Easy To Love". Must have been some corny love story but the water ski scenes were fabulous. 8 Correct Crafts, multiple skiers, multiple jumping, all in rough water. Definately some special effects but it was from the 50's. Pretty cool!
