I think he's still active, but I don't know how big an operation he is. He was just on this thread, as they have a new retractable product for Super Air Nautiques:

LOL, solid is a fitting description. Theyre solid aluminum and are NOT light weight! Super simple design and top notch materials... highly recommended. |

Don't have one but I've never heard anything but positive comments about the SDBM.

Are those Super Deluxe Boom Mounts pretty solid?
If they hold tight and do what they claim, that seems like a really good option. |

Pete, I knew you were going to post this.
I didn't need to go as far as making the ATF brew but I did use that on a stubborn old snowmobile secondary this winter. |

I just shot in some PB in where the pins are tapped on them to vibrate in the oil and the pins tapped right out. Make sure you use the right size drift pin so you don't bugger up the pins.
Then I put a shot around the base of the finger vibrated it by tapping the side of the pole with the rubber handle of the hammer. After a couple shots like that I put the hammer handle through the ring and gave it a twist. I couldn't believe it when it moved. I just kept shooting in the PB while working it back and forth and vibrating then starting lifting while twisting and out it came. DON'T put to much pressure on it when twisting it can break! |

did you have to soak the pins up with pb or heat them up? i have tried to pound them out and they will not budge. i am going to get a can of pb blaster and try that. if that does not work i may spring for the adapter.

It's held in place with roll pin(s) or some call them spring pins.
