To bad the seller was a jerk, not your typical CC owner. What engine? I would start with a penetrating lubricant on the plugs, I always use anti-sieze compound when I replace the plugs to prevent your current problem. Beyond that I am not much help, but welcome and enjoy the new boat. More useful reply's will follow.
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

Hey guys, I just purchased my first boat(1979 ski nautique)with the original engine. They guy i bought it from wasnt to friendly and didnt take the time to explain anything to me.I got out there and started fidling with it and found a few things.

Spark plugs are not coming out, possibly b/c there rusted
oil change=I dont see a sight glass like the online manual says and shows.
the bilge pump exit tube is not attached to the pump so i need to run another.

Can someone give me some advice?maybe some pictures or something, this is all new to me..
