The sand hill is right across from Wahweap in Ice cream canyon. And the pic of the red nautique (not mine) was at the Rainbow Bridge dock.

Cool photos, they came out great. Where was that sandy slide at? Also, where did you have your boat tied to that dock? Antelope?

Lake Powell 2012

A few pics - didn't want to eat up my online space - but the Camera got wet so we had a few days with no camera.   Didn't have any pics of the boat really.

Yeah on the way home the narrow channel was crazy busy and super rough - had to be super careful going through and didn't take any waves but it was nerve racking. We were with a houseboat and we actually took a bigger 24ft boat up to Rainbow. I will try and get some pics up soon

Lake Powell is a magical place. We usually tow the nautique behind a house boat and use a pump to transfer gas out of house boat tank.
IMHO: House boat is the way to go, because you can get away from the marina traffic.

N2Deep: A lot of ski boats get swamped in the narrows.

Post some pictures. I want to see if I saw your boat. I wanted to go to Rainbow Bridge, but I was concerned I was going to run out of fuel since I was staying at a camping ground in Wahweep.

I was just a Powell from 7/18 - 7/22 - too much lake and not enough time. Stayed in Last Chance and got to see Rainbow bridge and West canyon. Saw a handful of Nautiques and had a great time. Took my first wave over the bow - was watching some guys wake surf and by the time I looked up it was to late and their wave drenched us. LOL

I met a guy who had a 70s SN. He said he was on here and I just wanted to say your boat was sick. I can't wait to get my upholstery done like yours.

For all of the rest of CCF, here are a couple of pictures I took of Powell. The lake was massive.

How good is the mileage on your SN2001? I used a ton of fuel sitting at about 3k going 30 mph.
