I would probably not fool with trying to fix it either pete, too many unknowns with a local shop (I guess I just dont trust anybody). I mean, I would get one I know is good, then send mine off to be fixed for a spare or resell it.

OK,OK, I'll calm down but you know how hard it's been to maintain here!

That strut is repairable. It always amazes me what prop shops can do with brass. I've seen some pretty bad props go out that I never thought could be fixed. They come back looking new and run the same as a new prop. I of course understand the shop and the guys in that shop make a big difference as to the skill level.

I called Billy and he asked for the Numbers on the strut so I assumed that after calling skidim and nautiqueparts who sell strut for my year and advertises the s-19 for it that between all 3 people I would be safe in using it for a match.

Again, not reading or comprehending the bent strut!!! You did not see the posts about straightening a bent strut in your "the shaft will only turn with two hands thread"???

D/N.G.,
You are going to really take me over the edge.

BTW, the "S-19 is simply a casting #. It's not even what you need. As recommended MANY times, try out the sites search feature!!

Joe - I have the strut from a 1993 Ski Nautique for sale. Is that what you need? Contact me via PM or email.
