If you don't get them freed up give me a call! Also Echo what year is the boat as there were some differences on the 1:1 boats. 1998 changed but there were very few 1:1 boats made in those years.

Jim,
Many do find them locked up but as mentioned they can be freed up. I suggest removing them as well then get the rubber off and then go after the split clamp area with penetrating oil. The 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone is proven to be fantastic. Then the next best is Kroil.

I'm pretty sure that I have a pair, but I'll need the part number that's cast into the stringer bracket. It will start with R090......

try dipping them in a mix of atf fluid and acetone, let it sit for a while and work it out in a bench vise...
if they collapse then you could say at least you tried to save them...lol
