F1 I had the conversion to carb done on my 94 for a similar reason. No loss in hp, just a little more sensitive to cold starts. I'm still running the pro-tec dizzy. To be honest you'll find it much easier to tune, modify, and diagnose with the carb and standard dizzy setup. Trouble shooting those protecs is a pita, and repairing them is downright highway robbery. Get you a 4160 and you'll be good to go for a long time.

I have a GT-40 complete induction set up for sale! Cheaper then what it will cost you to change over to carb and distributor. change a few gaskets bolt it up and go!! has a 300-m ECM also.
Money Talks! BS Walks! and loose change rides the bus!!!

I have a 1995 196 with the pro-boss pro-tec fuel injection engine. The ignition module is bad and these parts are near impossible to get.

I am going to have to convert to a carburetor and was wondering if there would be much of a power loss? I believe my current set-up is like 310hp.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
