I have an 87 which has a similar dash. I didn't move my clock or hour meter. Instead I mounted it right between the 2 speedos, there's just enough room and it's the perfect place. If your watching your speed you'll see the depth.

I wanna say the HDR600 is like 3" deep or so. I can't remember for sure though....it was back in June.

I didn't even think about it....ours is an 88 so its a different dash and the clock was way in the corner at an angle. You can probably put it in any spot you want in your dash since its nice and flat.

Floppy, Congrats....you'll fall in love with it.
The diameter is the same so yes. However, we moved the hour meter over to the clock location and installed the HDR600 in the HM spot...basically b/c it was easier to work with (the HDR is deep and that corner spot is shallow). |
