There's a web site called Great Lakes Skipper that sells ALL kinds of over stock boat parts - It's worth a look

I had a couple other post on dealing with bad gauges on my Supra. They are Medallion II with control module. After trouble shooting, emailing Medallion and reading up on these gauges, I am considering taking a new approach, as I do not want to purchase any more gauges (two are bad and I am still hunting for the bad connection in the wiring harness). There is no reason in my mind to spend a dime on a system which will only likely have problems again. So this is what I am thinking. Buying set boat gauges off of ebay (gas, volt, temp and fuel) and installing them by running new wires from the sender, power source and ground. I may have to get new sending units, but I am hoping the original ones will work. I feel this way I at least know what is happening and I am in control of my own destiny.
Does this seem like a logical approach? |
