Yeah, I use the RPM for slalom... just trying to get the speed accurate as well for kicks. I'd go GPS route if I didn't boat on rivers.

My paddle is right where it says to install beside drain plug.

A second thought, switch to RPM mode at those speeds which should turn the paddle wheel off. I know PP prefers RPM's for slalom so they should be good for higher speeds.

Upgrade to Stargazer and you won't have to change it out.   If it it looses accuracy above a certain speed I would guess there is some turbulence it's picking up so you might want to change the location . Probably easiest to leve the current one in place and add another than it would be to drill a new hole and move the current paddle wheel and fix the old hole.

Anyone ever replace paddle wheel in Perfect Pass? Mine seems to loose accuracy at times esp around 40mph. Would a new Paddle wheel help?
