Just get the real one from Heatercraft online, it's 99 bucks. It's superior to the automotive style core because now it's made with a continuous copper coil rather than the side tanks and the soldered fins of the old style. When I replaced mine with the Napa car version it only lasted a couple years as unfiltered water is much different than antifreeze as far as corrosion (I'm assuming). You will have to break out the tin snips to modify the heater box a bit as the piping does not match up to the original core piping but this is a 5 minute modification. Heatercraft Core

Take it in to a good parts store and they can look up a suitable replacement based on its dimensions.

Does anyone know the part number for a heater core on a 2000 ski nautique? I was told it was a 1979 Ford LTD but I wasn't sure if someone had a part #?
