Impeller shredded into the cooling system

Have you been running the engine even briefly without water? The RWP is water lubricated.

For some crazy reason I have found it quite common for impeller pieces to travel both up and down current. I have no idea why. This is all marine inboards, not just ski boats. I typically open the hose connections at the end-of-run both sides of the pump and start blasting with a water hose. The only troublesome condition is small bits in the T stat. Vanes will also lodge in the pump cam and if not removed will wreck a new impeller.

Save all the pieces that you pull out and you can kindasorta recreate the impeller. By doing so you know if you have most if not all the parts of whats left of it and you'll know if you need to 'Go fish' some more.

I am more of a watch for problems type than a go look for problems type, check the hoses immediately up and down stream, if you don't find nothing then keep your eye on the temp gage and exhaust manifolds. If you have no overheating issues, and your manifolds are cooling evenly after a month or so they probably passed cleanly.
