Funny I just did the ones from my '85 today. Everything Ken said is correct any lowes or home dumpo should have 3/4 brass plugs and the taps aren't that much but you may have to go to a hardware store for that

Thanks,
Picked up a pipe tap for $20 off amazon. I got the plugs from Nautique parts. at the end of last season so will use those for now (if I can find them). |

Don't know what your replacements are but you can get brass with a square or hex external head pretty reasonably instead of your originals that are cast iron and have that internal recess that you put a 1/2 inch ratchet into.
If you have a Fastenal store locally that's one place to get them edit now that I think about it Home Depot has them too |

You can run a 3/4-14 NPT pipe tap thru the threads just enough to clean things up.
I've seen them as cheap as 15 dollars on EBAY, but your local hardware store probably has one for somewhat more. For the number of times you'll use it a cheap one will be just fine. |

The Manifolds plugs on my 95 Sport have seen better days and I want to replace them. I have 2 replacement plugs but I can't get the new plugs into old threads on the Manifold.
What is the best way for me to clean up the threads in the manifolds so I can get the new plugs in. Here are pics of the old plug. |
