Checked anti-siphon and that was the issue! Clogged with bugs and gunk. Thanks so much!
Thank you,
Andrew

Replaced low pressure fuel pump and the filter and still not working. High pressure pump is turning on. Boat still runs for 2 min at 34 and then bogs down
Thank you,
Andrew

15 Year’s out of a throw away pump is pretty good Pete. I’ll bet most have been changed by now. There is a screen under the top cover but for 55 dollars it’s not worth messing with it. PCM has to get 200+ for their replacement though.

Andrew,
Do you know where he put the pressure gauge in the fuel system and what the reading was? You could do it yourself but I agree with Gary about checking at the tank first.

I would check the anti siphon valve next like advised in previous post and if not the problem then pickup in the tank after that.

Andrew,
How did the "tech" determine the pump was a problem? Pressure gauge?

I have a 2003 Nautique 196. A technician came out and said the Low Pressure Fuel Pump has bad pressure after running the boat at about 30 mph for about 2 minutes. The boat turns on and runs fine for a bit and then starves out after a bit and slows the boat down as it seems there is not enough fuel.

I replaced the low pressure fuel pump along and am having the same issue. The relay and fuse seem to be fine as the pump hums and vibrates a bit when the boat turns on. I am not sure where to go from here.
Thank you,
Andrew
